High Frequency Modeling and Simulation Software

 

We at WIPL-D offer our customers state-of-the-art high frequency modeling and simulation software. There is no other software tool that handles diverse EM problems in a way WIPL-D Pro does. With its advanced features it helps you create top quality 3D EM designs.

Simulation of linear circuits made of library components, custom-made 3D EM components or imported S-parameter files is done in WIPL-D Microwave. Circuit and EM co-simulation expands the possibilities even further.

The list of add-on tools starts with WIPL-D Optimizer, a powerful multiple algorithm optimization tool, and AW Modeler, a tool which enables you to create a polygonal model ( from scratch or as import from AutoCAD) and automatically export it into WIPL-D Pro. Time Domain Solver uses frequency analysis results to obtain time-domain response of 3D structures. Filter Designer is a tool for automated filter design with a user-friendly design-stage approach. Array Designer offers automated radiation pattern synthesis.

This software tool enables you to achieve the best possible performance with your antenna, antenna array, microwave circuit or any other design. You just need to specify the parameters to be optimized and the rest will be done with the help of one or two optimizing algorithms. And, when it comes to algorithms, WIPL-D Optimizer is unsurpassed.  There are many algorithms to choose from: Genetic, Simplex, Gradient, Random, Simple Search and Simulated Annealing. AW Modeler

AW Modeler offers an easy way to build planar WIPL-D models. Its main features are:

  • Automatic conversion of AW model into WIPL-D project

Time Domain Solver

Time Domain Solver calculates time-domain response of 3D structures using frequency analysis and the Fourier transform. Variety of predefined excitations are offered: Gaussian pulse, Gaussian monocycle, rectangular and exponential pulses, sinusoidal wave. Also, the tool enables user-defined excitation waveforms. Wizard and expert modes of the user-interface allow quick learning for beginners and quick usage for experts. Visualization of output results is done within the WIPL-D environment.

WIPL-D (Lite)

This is a limited, low cost version of WIPL-D Pro which performs analysis of projects up to 500 unknowns. It is being distributed by Artech House.

Advanced features of WIPL-D Pro are not supported, yet this tool provides accurate results and enables its users to efficiently simulate electromagnetic behavior of many structures. This version is used by many academics, engineers and students throughout the world because it is a cheap but accurate and reliable tool.
